The Combat Medical Memorial must serve multipurpose
while perpetuating itself financially. Veterans
Organizations in the United States represent in excess
of 8,000 groups who have served this great nation as a
member of the United States Military. It is the intention
of the Officers and Board of Directors to solicit and
invite these many Veterans Organizations to hold their
reunions at our Convention Center and Guest House.
Kansas City provides a unique atmosphere for Veterans
Organizations reunions. To mention just a few of the
attractions the city offers; major league sports teams,
Truman Library, Nelson Art Gallery, The Plaza, Science
City, Worlds of Fun, Casino Gambling, Horse Racing,
NasCar Racing coupled with one of the finest restaurant
markets in the United States, Kansas City becomes a
very attractive location for reunions.
With the addition of the Combat Medical Memorial
Complex, the veteran and their family can reside in an
environment which stirs the memories of days gone by
while enjoying the hospitality of Midwestern lifestyle.
Our goal is to support financially the memorial complex,
without continued financial support from, individuals,
corporations and government. We understand the
memorial complex is a business and intend to operate
it accordingly.
