The Combat Medical Memorial would be far from
complete if a 'Military Museum' was not included.
For the benefit of generations to come coupled
with the delight of veterans who have served, we
plan a museum dedicated to the memory of the
United States military and all those who served.
The museum will be constructed in conjunction
with the Convention Center and Guest House
allowing for expansion as memorabilia become
available. We believe that veterans from all across
America will lend a hand in donating or loaning
items from their military service. We will also
request items, documents and equipment from
the Department of Defense to enhance the
displays while finding a home for obsolete items
currently stored at government expense.
Each war or conflict will have an area specifically
designated to its period and conditions. Tying
each area together will be pictures, equipment,
tools and documents from the years between
each war/conflict highlighting the political and
social standards of the times.
Any visiting veteran organization will be invited
to set up a display or make any items they wish
to donate a part of the museum, with their
organization proudly presented for all to see.
The museum will grow with the addition of
more items from years gone by. We expect the
modest entry donation to cover the cost of the
museum, although should the expenses exceed
revenue from visitors our other enterprises are
designed to offset this expense.
